This session will offer an exposition of how data from assessments of ability, attitude and attainment can be combined to help schools to deliver a personalised teaching and learning experience.

Bernard Fawcett, GL Education’s Consultant for the Asian region, will refer to reports from GL Education’s range of assessments to outline how the data can help schools to:

  • Measure the cognitive ability of each individual, including EAL students
  • Personalise and differentiate teaching within classrooms
  • Identify Gifted and SEN students, as well as underachievers

The session will specifically address the challenge of evaluating the true abilities of EAL students and ensuring that they receive the support and challenge that will ensure the best possible outcome for each individual.
