When students are having focused and energetic conversations, the learning is enriched and natural. It empowers them to develop their thinking in unique, creative ways and to develop stronger connections.
This presentation will give ideas on how to get students participating in these quality discussions and become confident to use their voice. Increasing engagement through hooking the students in and then providing tools and using protocols to keep the conversations going. Lucy will share various strategies she has learned over the years that have worked well, using examples for all curriculum areas - Maths, Literacy and Units of Study.
